Mr. Mutimer was born in Maryland and grew up in the Washington, DC area. He completed his undergraduate work at American University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Catholic University – The Columbus School of Law. While in law school, Attorney Mutimer worked full time for one of the most respected DUI defense attorneys in Washington, DC where he learned the art and science of representing clients charged with DUI and other serious crimes. Attorney Mutimer is prepared to use his experience gained from handling numerous jury trials and bench trials in the District of Columbia to zealously fight for the rights of each and every one of his clients. From the moment you first meet him, his passion for his clients and their cases will become clear.

In 2017, Mr. Mutimer graduated from the Trial Lawyers College in Wyoming. Founded by famed trial lawyer Gerry Spence, the program selects an elite group of civil plaintiffs lawyers and criminal defense lawyers for a three-week intensive advocacy program. Mr. Mutimer spent three weeks living on a ranch doing 8 hours per day of on your feet trial advocacy training. That same year, Mr. Mutimer was selected as aRising Starby Super Lawyers Magazine. He is also a member of the National College for DUI Defense.

Mr. Mutimer’s has gotten tremendous results for his clients due to his tenacious advocacy and skill in the courtroom. After successfully defending five misdemeanor charges for one client, a local DC bar named a drink after him and put “Mutimer’s Closing Argument” on their menu.
