Who is Lenny Stamm?

Leonard “Lenny” Stamm is a Maryland criminal defense attorney who has practiced since 1984 and specializes in DUI/DWI defense and Motor Vehicle Administration license hearings. He is the author of Maryland DUI Law (Thomson-West) and a Fellow and former Dean of the National College for DUI Defense.

What book did Leonard Stamm write?

He wrote Maryland DUI Law, published by Thomson-West (West Publishing Company). The first edition appeared in September 2008 and Stamm has updated it every year since. He also writes the annual pocket part for Professor Lynn McLain’s Maryland Evidence State and Federal (2015–2025) and was Contributing Editor of The Maryland DWI Manual (1995–2007).

Has Leonard Stamm been involved in Supreme Court cases?

Yes. He co-authored the NACDL/NCDD amicus briefs in Bullcoming v. New Mexico (2011), Missouri v. McNeely (2013), and Birchfield v. North Dakota (2016), and signed on to the NACDL/NCDD amicus brief filed for the winning side in Melendez-Diaz v. Massachusetts (2009). He has been admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court bar since 1993.
